Returning Cheetahs

When cheetahs left, we were all sad. The cheetahs left because they were endangered, meaning that they were almost gone and are in need of help. I mean, who doesn't love cheetahs? Gladly on Wensday, they brought the cheetahs back! Cheetahs have returned to Jamaa! As always, they are 10 diamonds, and if they are worth diamonds, they are at the Diamond shop! If you guys want to try to help the endangered animals, go to the museum and donate some gems or IRL, donate real money to National Geographic.

Myths

There are SO MANY myths on Animal Jam! I bet AJHQ has gotten so annoyed at false myths. In fact, they have released and "Myth Busters" article. Now this ain't your Mythbusters show with Jamie and Adam. This is Animal Jam's way of getting rid of false rumors!

Is it true that AJHQ will be closing? 

NO WAY! AJHQ has no plans to close. In fact, we’re releasing Animal Jam – PlayWild! on mobile this summer! Which is going to be EPIC! So, in other words, AJHQ has no plans to close any time soon! Is it true that AJHQ is getting hacked?

Will turning white and dancing in the Diamond Shop reward me with DIAMONDS? 

The answer is NO, turning white and dancing in the Diamond Shop will not give you diamonds…

These three myths appear to be just the start! How far will AJHQ go to remove untrue rumors? We will have to see in the next "Myth Busters". What are some Animal Jam myths you believe? New Spring Arrivals

To raise the spring spirit just a little more, Animal Jam has brought us two new items. These two new items appear from the same set, one being non-member and the other member. In this case, the non-member item is actually more expensive than the member item! A bit shocking. Let's take a look at both items.

In my opinion, I think they are both overpriced. Anyhow, the non-member item is called the "Spring Flower Bracelet"and the member item is called the "Spring Flower Crown". As seen above, the bracelet is on sale for 550 gems and the crown is on sale for 500 gems. Each item can be bought at Jam Mart Clothing, in Jamaa Township.

Which item do you like the most? My favorite of the two is actually the bracelet. It is a good non-member item, and I was relatively surprised to see it as a non-member item! Comment your favorite for a shout-out!

Rare Tutu

As spring has arrived, Animal Jam definitely needs new items. With spring colors, Animal Jam presents the Rare Tutu, Rare Item Monday of May 11, 2015. Let's look at the new rare.

As seen above, the Rare Tutu is on sale today only for 750 gems. Unfortunately, only members can buy this rare, but don't worry, there will be plenty more non-member rares to come. Now, let's get to the fun part: comparing the rare to the actual item.

The normal tutu is very similar. It is also member, but it is relatively cheaper. In fact, the normal tutu is 400 gems cheaper! One major difference between the two is the rare is darker colored. The bow is dark blue, while the actual tutu is darker purple. I definitely think the regular tutu is a better buy, aside from the fact I think it is prettier. What is your opinion? Mira May PARADE!!!

Hello Jammers!
I am so stupid for making this post so late. I decided to have a parade at my den at 12:30 pm Central Time. Why? Because it is MIRA MAY!!!!! I wanted to worship Mira so I decided to make a parade and party. So you need to wear something flower like, like a crown or something. It would be extra special if you worn a charm bracelt with the alphas on it, just because X3 Now, remember we can only make room for 30 people, so do not invite tons of people. Hope you have a grat day jammers! Shout out to LUCY43511!!!!!! She is a very good friend of mine and a good roleplayer, see you at the party!

As seen above, the bicycle is 400 gems and is NON-MEMBER!!! The roller skates are 350 gems and also NON-MEMBER!!!!

Howls

One recent achievement I am proud of is getting my howl submitted! It took a long time, and after having the experience of winning, I wanted to share some tips and tricks! Let's start off by showing you the jam-a-gram you receive when your howl has been submitted.

In order to get a howl submitted, you will need to know how to submit a howl! Refer to this article written by AJHQ: Howls. Now, let's get on to the tips!
I would recommend writing all positive things about Animal Jam:

• Share your POSITIVE views on new arrivals.
• Tell us how much you love Animal Jam. 
• Read the Daily Explorer for howl themes. Write POSITIVE messages on the themes.

As I said, the Daily Explorer has howl themes every once and a while. If you see a theme, send AS MANY howls as you can! I often times send 10-20 howls for each idea, each time slightly rewording the original howl. If you enter multiple times, AJHQ has many choices, so they can chose their favorite wording. Remember this: sending howls is the only time spamming is okay!
Once you have sent all your howls, just hope and wait. Keep sending in howls! AJHQ especially likes howls about the game in general. When you get in, comment your winning howl!
As an example, I will post some howls here. Feel free to submit these as your own.

The "Secret Color" Glitch

What are some ways that make you special on Animal Jam? I know doing glitches brings you a lot of attention. That is why I want to show you a glitch that is very "old" but fun to do. This glitch is called the "Secret Color".
Many of you may recognize this glitch from Libertyy AJ, who has one of her animals in this color.

If you didn't know, this color is not one of the colors on your designing window. Now, I will show you how to achieve this color!
First, you will need to open you designing window: the one where you change your clothes, add items to your trade list, and change your animal's color and pattern.

Next, you will want to chose what part of your animal will be the secret color. As you can see, I chose the fur to be the secret color. In the bottom, none of the colors are selected. This means the secret color has been selected. Finally, we will actually make the secret color. In the bottom right corner, there is a light purple. You want to click on this color. But you will need to click it in a special way. You need to click it on the top right corner. If you did this right, your animal will have the same color as mine. If not, you need to click closer to the corner.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask in the comments. Also, comment whether you think this color should be added to our options. I think it should be added to our options. Obviously, it would look weird on it's own line, so I have an idea. I think we should be able to buy that color. It would be available to all jammers, member and non-members, and it would be 175 gems to have that color added to your options.

Glitch

Have you ever seen random items in Jamaa Township? Well, I certainly have. If you haven't it is something you would want to see! Luckily for those of you who haven't seen it, I have screenshots! Let's check them out!

In this screenshot, we see a random Alpha Stone. What is it doing in Jamaa? No idea. Let's look at another screenshot.

This time, we see Mighty Quietkangaroo with a cork. It might be harder to see because the cork blends in with the canyon. I have inferred that this person was just playing an adventure that involved corks.

In this last screenshot, a jammer has an orange. We can tell that he/she was playing "Meet Cosmo". This glitch draws a lot of attention from nearby jammers.  Comment down below what other items you have seen in Animal Jam and/or questions! Here is a video on how to do the glitch.

New Arrivals

What are some fun things we do in the summer? We have fun through sports, hanging out with friends, and games, right? Well, why can't AJHQ make similar fun items? It turns out they are! As summer nears, more summer items are coming in!
In fact, the first sport I have just started in real life! It just so happens that the "beta" croquet set is returning to Animal Jam. I will tell you my croquet story sometime later. Let's take a look at this set! It can be bought at Jam Mart Furniture for 400 gems and it is non-member!

Our next item is a four square court. I actually remember playing this game in elementary school and I would almost always win(not bragging). This item can also be bought at Jam Mart Furniture for 450 gems. It is a member item.

Our third summer game is tetherball. We all remember playing that game, right? Anyhow, play it now on Animal Jam for 400 gems. Again, this item is members only. But don't worry non-members. You guys can play tetherball in your member buddy's den.

We all know the saying about the horseshoe: they bring good luck when turned the right way. Well, the horseshoe in my room really worked it's luck! AJHQ has brought a horseshoe set to Animal Jam! For members, it can be bought for a cheap 250 gem price!

Our last item is the Bean Bag Toss. To keep a "earthy" feel to Animal Jam, it has an apple tree background. I am assuming the bean bags are supposed to represent fruit, but who knows! As another member item, it can be bought for 400 gems.

Another new arrival has surprised me! As my name is Lilly, it is just a coincidence that the Lily of the Valley has arrived at Treetop Gardens in Sarepia Forest! There are options for non-members and members this time! Prices and size are different for each.

Fashion on an ANIMAL #1

Hi Jammers! I am going to start a new series that happen every T day (Tuesday and Thursday) by me, Hellokittyforlife. What this is, is a thing when I post a picture of some animals and some ideas on your next outfit for non members and members! So lets get started on these animals for boys and girls.
Animals: Arctic Wolf and Wolf
Here is an idea for the Arctic wolf boy. You will need any spike color you would like, but I had the silver one so I desided to use it.

This one is for the non member wolf boy. You will need a orange fox hat and a silver glove

Here is the next one for a girl arctic wolf. As you see you will need a few stuff. Most of these items are from Epic Wonders in Coral Canyons, and some you can just buy

So the next pic is for the non member wolf for a girl

As you see here, you will need a members help to get this color of your scarf. But you can easily buy the silver glove in the Epic Wonders.

Rare Winged Shoes

There may be a few parts of Monday that are good, but I know one that will certainly cheer you up! It is Rare Item Monday! Today we have the Rare Winged Shoes! I have noticed that rares have been looking just like the normal item. I thought it might be funny to see the similarities. Let's check them out....

Obviously, Animal Jam has to make the rare members only. Poor non-members. For those members, you will have to pay 750 gems for this rare. Is it really worth it? The normal one is 500 gems. The rare is 250 gems more. Make your decision and buy it today, before it leaves stores.

Just how creative is Animal Jam? We are shown right here that AJHQ aren't very creative. Are they so not creative that they need our ideas?

Hopefully, we will get better items! Comment down below what new clothing items or rares you want in Jamaa! Maybe they become real soon! I think dresses would be really cute for some of the animals. Don't you agree?

Dawn of the Alphas

Have you ever wondered the story of Liza, Peck, Greely, and the other alphas? Now, the Daily Explorer is offering a new series of stories about the alphas. Haven't seen them yet? There are on the Daily Explorer or read them all right here, on the blog!

The Dawn Of The Alphas — Episode 1

Jamaa was once home to hundreds of animal species of all shapes and sizes. These animals spent their days playing games, going to parties, building homes, and living together as friends.

Mira and Zios, the guardian spirits of Jamaa, gifted each animal species with a Heartstone, a special jewel that contained the essence of that species and held the secrets of its magic.

For many generations, all the Heartstones were kept together in a vault beneath the Lost Temple of Zios. Every animal could visit them and see the unique gifts that each species brought to Jamaa.

Episode 2 — Unrest in Jamaa

But as time passed, things changed, Animals began to fear and mistrust other species. Some animals stopped living together as a united community. Soon, all the feelings of friendship in Jamaa were gone, and the animals built new villages for their kind only. Koalas lived and talked only with other koalas. So did rhinos. And crocodiles.
 

    
 

Before long, all the animals in Jamaa stopped working together to make Jamaa a happy and vibrant place. Worst of all, many animal species took their Heartstones from the Lost Temple of Zios and hid their Heartstones in their new villages.

It was during this time of division that the dark Phantoms first appeared.

The third times the CHARM

Guess what was here yesterday!? THE CHARM BRACELTS CAME! Stop by the Jamamartket for wearable clothes and buy one today! They come in some of these colors (These are not the only colors) and have the alpha charms with Cosmo, Liza, Greely, and Peck! As you see in the photos the bracelets cost 600 gems and are only for members. I feel bad for the non members, because you know, they barely get anything good to wear! Shout out of the day AND yesterday is.... ROSEY78914 AND POOFLOOF!!!

Rising Fire Update

First, don't be afraid. This isn't a second Rising Fire; they have changed their profile picture.

Today is apparently the day Rising Fire will show us their power through a video. Today, all we were given is a website that "saves your data" from Mighty Squad:

Let's head to that website now! The website is a very simple Weebly. The site consists of three parts: the form, about page, and contact page. Here is what the form looks like:

The "victim" would fill out this form filled with personal information. Very likely to be a hack, but as we said earlier, Rising Fire appears to be a "good" hacker. Now, let's learn more about Rising Fire.

We are given a basic introduction, which confirms everything we thought. The Google+ page has just about the same information.

Finally, let's look at the third component: the contact page. We are given absolutely no contact information for Rising Fire. This makes some sense, though. 

In conclusion, we still have no more say whether Rising Fire is good or bad. Oh, before I forget, the site is safe. Here is the McAfee report for Rising Fire's Weebly:

AJHQ is....

Anyways, I love the daily Explorer. It is another blog like the one about Animal Jam, but it is run by AJHQ. Now, if you mention AJHQ, I have noticed that they tend to reply. Normal right? But I was absolutely shocked to see what AJHQ posted as a response! Look at this: 

What is wrong you may ask? What is the second word of AJHQ's reply? "Mom". What about his/her dad? Is there any reason AJHQ needs to be sexist? Because they are. I sent an email to AJHQ regarding this:

The new earrings!

Hi Jammers! Feather earrings are here! They come in these colors: Pink,blue with a little bit of yellow, green, peach and orange, violet and purple, complete white, black and red, and the normal one, which is the image at the top. As you also see in the image the price is pretty cheap if you have over 5,000 gems which the price is 500 gems. As Lilly said, go to the new 2x gem game in Club Geoz. The shoutout of the day is..... IMBER66!!! She has a youtube channel and she was one of my best friends way before I made my first youtube video. She as an amazing person and is really good at art. Club Geoz 2x Gem Payout!

Head to Jamaa Township right now! Two games found in Club Geoz are going on a double gem payout! Just how many phantoms and spiders can you fight? Find out today by going to Club Geoz. There, you will see a huge gem poster!

Click play and have a great time! Just how well did I do? Well, I didn't do very well on my first try of Phantom Fighter. I got to level 2. The double gem payout made a huge difference though!

On the other hand, I did quite well on Spider Zapper. I got to Level 2 too, but only because I quit. Long story short I was busy. Anyways, the double gem payout made a HUGE difference here!

Beggars

We have all seen those beggars. The "gift me" people and the "I need donations cause I got hacked" people. When does begging get too far that we ca actually call them scammers? Many people have different views on this topic, but I will share what my opinion is.
If a jammer just says "Gift me" and such, I will just block them. No harm done. This way, I can't see what they are saying. It is very unlikely that I can get scammed, when I can't even hear them. Here are a few examples of people I would just report.

These jammers aren't demanding gifts or getting too out of hand. When can we call a beggar a scammer? I think a beggar becomes a scammer when they deal with "larger" items, such as rare spike and betas, and they get demanding. Below is an example of a jammer who I would not report for scamming. This jammer isn't demanding. I would just block him/her as I did.

As you can see, they want diamond items. Pretty expensive! The only reason I haven't reported him/her is because they aren't demanding.
Now, we have another beggar. This jammer is asking us to gift him a green  spike. I would not block this jammer just yet, so I can possibly get more proof. I would definitely record his username though. I followed this jammer to see if he is an actual scammer(a rhyme). Unfortunately, he left the world, so I couldn't find out. In this case, I would just block him and hope to never see him again.

Now to the extreme beggars. These are the beggars who are getting out of hand. There are many examples of this type of beggar, and I will show you one. Our first actual scammer is a real tested scammer. In fact, one of my friends got scammed by her. Let's take a closer look.

This scammer is telling us that if we gift her, she will gift back. If you ever get stuck in this situation, send them a bad item first. For example, send them a necklace. If they are a scammer, they will probably return it saying they need a better item. If you get to this stage, report the username for scamming, then report the jam-a-gram for scamming. Never continue, as you might get scammed. 

Please stay safe on Animal Jam! If anything doesn't seem right, leave and report. Remember, you can never get in trouble for reporting as long as you feel the need too.
